Our take
I upgraded from a standard 60Hz monitor to this Odyssey G5 G50F, and the difference is night and day. The 180Hz refresh rate is incredibly smooth, and the 1ms response time keeps everything crisp during fast action. The QHD resolution makes games look detailed without being as demanding as 4K. The Fast IPS panel has great colors and wide viewing angles. I like that it supports Adaptive-Sync to eliminate screen tearing. The brightness of 200 cd/m² is adequate for indoor use but not super bright. Also, you need to use DisplayPort to get the full 180Hz. Overall, a fantastic gaming monitor for the price.
