Our take
This used Odyssey G9 is an immersive beast. The 49-inch 32:9 aspect ratio is like having two 27-inch monitors without a bezel. 240Hz on Dual QHD is smooth, and HDR adds pop. G-Sync and FreeSync compatibility is a bonus. However, being used, I had to check for dead pixels. The contrast is only 2500:1, not OLED-level, and the curve is aggressive—may not suit all setups. But at $649, it's a cheaper way into super-ultrawide gaming.
