Our take
I've been gaming on the Samsung Odyssey G55C for a while, and it's fantastic for the price. The QHD resolution at 27 inches is sharp, and the 165Hz refresh rate makes games incredibly smooth. The 1000R curve is immersive, wrapping around my field of view. Colors are vibrant thanks to the VA panel, and black levels are deep. The stand is sturdy with height and tilt adjustment. The only downside is that VA panel's viewing angles aren't as good as IPS, and there's some smearing in dark scenes. Overall, an excellent mid-range curved gaming monitor.
